Current WIPs for Nara's Nook

Catwalk for Fashion Show

I'm still getting messages about folks not being able to find me or asking if I'm okay. I am. Nook is fine too. Things have been quiet and we canceled a few events recently because I lost my husband a few weeks ago and I could not deal with both the demands of RL and virtual for a bit.

I am back now. And since staying busy helps, we've been fiddling with some highly beta projects.

Accessing Opensim regions by web browser by converting in Unity:

Unity Chan visits Greyville

Investigating whether SL type avatars will work in a Unity with Unity animations:

Unity Chan and two Nook avatars
Can we use a combination of things we build in Opensim with Unity tools to build visual novel scenes that can be accessed on the web?
Nara avatar inside a demo game playing in a web browser.

We're pretty excited about this last option and if you come to WIP this Sunday we might have a full sample story the Nook team has been working on to show you. And of course I will talk more about it at the NPC workshop next Sunday.

Of course work is still going full steam ahead for the Opensim Fashion Show at the end of the month.

Hope to see some of you at Hypergrid Night's this eve. A schedule of upcoming activities is posted below.

All Nook activities will resume on schedule this week.

* Hypergrid Nights on Wednesday evening at 6 SLT – we’re going to a birthday party and enjoying a little dancing.
* WIP this Sunday at noon SLT. If you want to hear about what has been happening with our Opensim in a browser experiments, be sure to be there.
* Everything Writing is on Monday evening, April 11th at 6 SLT.
* My next NPC workshop will be Sunday, April 17th at noon SLT.

*Opensim Fashion Show will be April 23, noon SLT.
